Prosecco supplies plummet

The Galley Press Gang living it up, as per usual

The Galley Press Gang living it up, as per usual

We’re all about celebrating the wins - big and small - at Galley Press and on a dreary Monday in October, we most certainly did just that. And we did it in some style. In our biggest gathering yet, some of the Galley Press creatives got together to toast the success of the spring issue of Subiaco: Eat Drink Shop.

It was our biggest issue yet - coming in at over 60 pages which when you consider the first issue was just 12 pages, is no small feat. So it was time to raise a glass or 10 of prosecco to each other and bask - at least for a bit - in our combined reflective glory. We’re already working on the special Christmas edition of the Subiaco: Eat Drink Shop guide - and the signs are already there that it’ll be a small but perfectly formed blockbuster, just like it’s spring issue big brother.

Pictured back row from left: Sloane Carvell (recipe queen), Craig Kinder (food photography god), Cally (not standing in a hole as first appearances seem to suggest, she’s just a bit short), Gabi (not standing on a box, she’s just a giraffe), Des Eddy (fashion stylist guru) and Cameron (Des’s delicious partner). Front row from left: Shelley Tamsitt (ad sales gun-ette), Di Bortoletto (she’s Italian, capisce?) and Gail Williams (never knowingly turns down a food/drinks invitation).
